Spadea Rumen

Spadea Rumen Mineral Block is specially formulated for housed cattle to support rumen health, digestion and overall performance during the winter feeding period.
Winter diets based heavily on silage and concentrates can reduce rumen pH, creating a more acidic environment that may affect feed efficiency, growth and milk production. Spadea Rumen contains 40% sodium bicarbonate to help buffer the rumen and maintain a more suitable pH for beneficial rumen bacteria.
The block also provides essential minerals and trace elements to help address nutritional shortfalls that may occur in winter forage. Its highly palatable formulation encourages intake and helps cattle make better use of their silage and overall diet.
Supports Rumen pH
The rumen functions most efficiently when conditions are suitable for beneficial bacteria to break down forage and fibre. Spadea Rumen helps support this environment by providing sodium bicarbonate and naturally buffering marine ingredients.
Calseagrit - Calseagrit is a calcified seaweed naturally rich in highly available marine calcium, magnesium and trace elements. It provides a natural buffering effect within the rumen, helping to maintain an appropriate rumen pH and support efficient digestive function.
Iotech - Iotech is derived from brown seaweed and provides naturally occurring nutrients and antioxidants that support beneficial rumen bacteria. Supporting rumen microbial activity helps cattle process forage and fibre more efficiently and make better use of available nutrients.
Why Use Spadea Rumen?
Spadea Rumen provides a convenient combination of rumen buffering, mineral supplementation and digestive support in one highly palatable block. It is particularly suited to housed cattle receiving silage-based winter diets and helps support feed utilisation, rumen function and overall animal performance.
