Ceteia Ovin Zinc

Ceteia Ovin Zinc Mineral Block is a high-zinc mineral and trace element block designed to support cattle and sheep where additional zinc supplementation is required.
The formulation contains zinc, chelated zinc, iodine, cobalt and selenium to support hoof condition, skin health, growth, fertility and overall livestock performance. Zinc plays an important role in many metabolic processes and is particularly important for healthy skin, feet and tissue development.
Supports Foot & Skin Condition
Adequate zinc intake is important for maintaining strong hoof tissue and healthy skin. Ceteia Ovin Zinc provides both standard and chelated zinc to help support effective mineral intake and utilisation.
It is particularly suited to livestock where poor hoof condition, reduced performance or signs of mineral deficiency may be a concern.
Mineral Support for Cattle & Sheep
Livestock mineral requirements can vary depending on age, diet, weather, stress and stage of production. Forage alone may not always provide sufficient levels of essential minerals and trace elements.
Ceteia Ovin Zinc provides free-access supplementation, allowing animals to consume additional minerals as required. It is suitable for both cattle and sheep and may also provide useful nutritional support for breeding animals.
Calseagrit
Calseagrit is a calcified seaweed naturally rich in marine calcium and trace elements. It helps support rumen buffering and maintain an appropriate rumen pH.
Iotech
Iotech is a dried brown seaweed ingredient providing naturally occurring antioxidants and nutrients that help support rumen microbial activity and digestive function.
Together, Calseagrit and Iotech help maintain a healthy rumen environment, supporting efficient digestion and nutrient utilisation.
Feeding & Placement
The block should be positioned in an area where all animals have easy access. For housed cattle, it is best placed near, but not directly beside, the water source.
For cattle, an elevated position of approximately 1.5–1.8 metres can help encourage salivation, which supports natural rumen buffering.
As a general guide, one 15kg block is recommended for approximately 20–30 cattle, although requirements may vary depending on herd size, diet and intake.
Compatible holders include heavy-duty metal holders, plastic wall holders and pasture holders.
