Application Instructions
1. Trim and thoroughly clean the healthy claw. Ensure it is completely dry by wiping with acetone or methylated spirits.
2. Place the hoof block on the healthy claw before applying adhesive. Trim the claw if necessary to achieve a good fit.
3. Thoroughly mix the adhesive powder and liquid hardener until you achieve a smooth, even paste.
4. Spread the adhesive evenly inside the hoof block and fit it onto the healthy claw.
5. Tap the toe of the block gently to seat it into position. Ensure the sole of the block is parallel with the sole of the claw.
6. Wipe away any excess adhesive around the edges of the block.
7. Hold the hoof raised for several minutes until the adhesive has fully set.
8. Place the foot back on the ground and keep the animal standing for a few more minutes to ensure a secure bond.
9. Once the adhesive has fully cured, the animal can walk normally while the affected claw is kept free from weight-bearing, allowing it to heal.
