Item Description

Zinc sulphate heptahydrate is a simple source of zinc and is commonly used in cattle and sheep footbath solutions. It is supplied as a 25kg granular powder and is useful where foot health programmes require a zinc-based bath or where zinc is lacking in feed. The supplied guidance gives a typical footbath dilution rate of 10%, using 1kg per 10 litres of water, with stronger mixes for sheep footrot when required. Because solution strength matters, regular checking and remixing are advised during use.
