Item Description
A rumen magnet is a recognised way to help reduce the impact of hardware disease in cattle. By trapping swallowed wire, nails and other metal objects in the stomach, it helps lower the risk of internal damage to the reticulum and nearby organs. This style of magnet is easy to insert with a bolus gun and is intended to remain safely in the cow for life. It is especially useful in TMR systems or where stock are exposed to yards, repair areas or old fencing materials.
