1. Administer orally using a bolus applicator (balling gun)
2. Recommended dosage:
- Cows over 500 kg: 2 boluses per cow
3. For high SCC cases (>500,000):
- Repeat treatment after 30 days if required
4. Ensure bolus is swallowed correctly.

Item Description
Maycillin Dairy Cow Bolus is a fast-acting udder health bolus designed for use in lactating dairy cows to support the management of mastitis and high somatic cell counts (SCC). Unlike traditional antibiotic treatments, Maycillin is a non-antibiotic alternative, formulated to support the cow’s natural immune response. It releases Allicin (a natural garlic-derived compound), known for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. This makes it an ideal solution for farmers looking to improve udder health while maintaining milk supply as it comes with a zero milk withdrawal period—allowing milk to remain in the tank during treatment. Maycillin is particularly effective during periods of stress such as post-calving and in cases of recurring mastitis or elevated SCC levels. Supplied in a 10 bolus pack (treats approx. 5 cows), it is a practical addition to any dairy herd health programme.
