Application Instructions
Dosage Form: Intramammary syringe.
Directions for Use / Administration:
1. Thoroughly clean hands and wear clean gloves before administration.
2. Immediately after the last milking at drying off, strip the udder.
3.Thoroughly clean and disinfect each teat using a suitable teat disinfectant.
4. Carefully infuse one full syringe into each teat.
5. 5. Do NOT massage or squeeze the teat after infusion - this may dislodge the seal.
6. Leave the seal in place throughout the dry period to prevent bacterial ingress.

Item Description
Sureseal is an internal teat sealant designed for the prevention of new intramammary infections during the dry period in dairy cows. Supplied as a 30 cow pack, Sureseal is infused into each udder quarter immediately after the final milking at drying off, where it forms a physical seal within the teat canal. This barrier prevents the ingress of pathogenic bacteria throughout the dry period, helping to protect udder health and reduce the risk of mastitis at calving. Sureseal is particularly effective as part of a selective dry cow therapy strategy, where it may be used alone in low-risk cows or alongside dry cow antibiotic therapy where advised by a veterinarian. The product contains bismuth subnitrate, a heavy inert compound that remains in the teat canal until removed naturally at calving. Sureseal has a zero milk withdrawal period, making it a safe and practical choice for dry cow management.
