Single Calf Hutch (Green)

JFC Calf Hutches are a healthy housing alternative for calves in their first 10 weeks of life. Independent research has shown that outdoor ventilated hutches have a major impact in the reduction of calf mortality rates and also reduce cross infections including pneumonia and scour. Preventing such conditions in their first weeks of life is essential in order that young calves, whose immune system is still developing, can achieve their full productivity potential in later life. Isolating a young calf from the rest of the herd removes an appreciable threat to its health. Calf hutches also act as segregation units when buying new calves or when it is necessary to administer treatment to infected animals. JFC provide a broad range of calf hutches suitable for single and group housing. JFC hutches are robust, hard-wearing and weather resistant. JFC Calf Hutches are portable, ventilated and easy to clean which allows a more hygienic and healthy surroundings for the young calf.
