1. Apply when grass and clover are actively growing.
2. Apply after the first trifoliate leaf has appeared on the majority of clover plants.
3. Use at a rate of 7 litres per hectare.
4. Apply in 220–550 litres of water per hectare.
5. Use calibrated spraying equipment.

Item Description
DB Plus 10L is one of the few selective herbicides available for controlling broad-leaved weeds in newly sown grass and clover leys. Specifically formulated to be safe on both red and white clover, it provides effective weed control without compromising the development of productive pasture systems. Widely used in grassland establishment programmes, DB Plus helps eliminate competition from troublesome weeds during the critical early growth stages of grass and clover crops. By reducing weed pressure, it supports stronger establishment, improved forage quality, and enhanced long-term pasture productivity. DB Plus controls a broad range of annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds including charlock, fat hen, shepherd's purse, redshank, mustard species, nettles, buttercups, and sow thistles. Its clover-safe formulation makes it particularly valuable where maintaining clover content is important for nitrogen fixation and grazing performance. The 10-litre drum provides excellent coverage for reseeding and pasture establishment programmes, making it a practical solution for Irish dairy, beef, and sheep farms.
