Item Description
CriticalC Calcium Bolus provides rapid oral calcium support for cows during high-demand physiological periods, especially around calving and early lactation. Calcium plays a vital role in muscle contraction, nerve function, rumen motility and hormonal regulation. When calcium demand outstrips supply — such as at the onset of milk production — cows can suffer from hypocalcemia (commonly known as milk fever), which leads to lethargy, poor muscle control, decreased appetite and increased risk of metabolic disease.
This high-strength oral bolus formulation delivers bioavailable calcium directly to the bloodstream, helping to stabilise blood calcium levels quickly and supporting recovery from clinical or sub-clinical calcium deficiency.
