Cheno Unction is a multi-purpose dairy ointment used on farms for soothing and protecting damaged skin. It is commonly applied to cuts, grazes, bruises, chapped teats and abrasions where the skin needs covering and support while it settles. The 2kg tub suits regular use around the yard, parlour or calving area. The formulation includes neem oil, which is associated with fly-repellent properties and is useful where damaged skin needs protection from irritation. On Irish dairy farms it is often kept on hand as a practical topical cream for routine skin care. Apply externally to clean skin and reapply as needed.
