Item Description
A dependable calving rope is a basic but essential item in the calving kit, and this 1.8m double loop rope is made for controlled assistance when extra pull is needed. The 10mm diameter gives strength without being too harsh in the hand, while the loop at each end helps position the rope correctly. It is useful to keep one or more ropes clean and ready in the calving box so you are prepared when assistance is required. On Irish farms, simple reliable calving gear saves time and helps avoid a scramble when a difficult birth occurs. Clean and dry the rope thoroughly after each use.
